Nette Robinson is an exceptional artist who possesses sound tecnical skills as well as remarkable creative flair. She integrates her love and knowledge of jazz and music into her work, using images, juxtapositions of colour and tone, etc to represent rhythms, motivic development and moods. She is especially influneced by Harlem Renaissance artist Aaron Douglas, Piet Mondrian, Futurism and othe Modernist movements.
